    One Sunday as mass was on, those attending it saw a number of men coming towards them up the mountain. The priest stopped mass and ran away lest they might be soldiers.
    There is a round tower at Arlow, Bailieboro', Co. Cavan. It was built in the Penal Days. There were several priest chased by soldiers, and when they'd be after them they would hide around the tower.
    There is a wind mill at Kelletts, Arlow, Bailieboro', Co. Cavan, and during the Penal days there was a man who used to hide himself at it and watch a priest. One day this priest was going on a sick call, and he was crossing the field to the house. This man
