  1. Two brothers, named Smyth, living at Cloughbally, Mullagh, Cavan, were ploughing a field one day, when they came on a round flagstone. They fetched a spade and dug round it till they could lift it, and in under it there was a round crock. They expected to find treasure in it, but the were disappointed, for it was empty.
