    Long ago people used various cures for the feet. Bog water was an old cure in which they washed their feet.
    It is a brownish colour of water. The bark of the oak tree is steeped in water over the night is a cure for the feet also. It is the custom in this district to throw the water in which the feet are washed out, because it is unlucky to keep it over the night.
