  2. There is a place called Courthill beside the village of Dunboyne, it is large dwelling houses with beautiful avenues up to it. There once lived a rich family in this house called Conshore. The lady of the house died and she haunted the place. During this time there lived an old man and woman who lived not far from the house. It was the woman's custom to go for a bucket of water to Courthill yard every night. As she was returning one night with the water she met a lady. She recognised her to be the lady of the big house. The woman made the sign of the cross and asked her, her
