Once upon a time there was a woman whose name was Mrs Grendan. She lived in the Rath long ago. She was a kind of Doctor and was able to make many medicines from herbs. There was a particular herb which should not be gathered before sun rise or after sunset. She disobeyed the command and gathered the herb after sunset. The fairies took her away and beat her. She could not be cured and had to stay in bed and died three days afterwards.
