  1. I have heard of a woman to cure a girl that had a bad pain in her ear. The woman took the girl out to the yard & rubbed clay on her ear and said three times "In the name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost" The girl never had the pain in her ear again.
    Here was another woman who could cure whooping cough by bringing the child that had it into a pig house & saying:- "in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost". three times.
    There was a man some years ago and his head was swollen with Prysipelas and the doctor could not cure him, so his people took him to a man that had the cure of this. He rubbed the man's head with a cut potato saying:- "in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost" & the man's head was better in 5 minutes.
    To cure chilblains stick a pin into the chilblain & then redden the pin with a match & the chilblain is cured.
