  1. This is a rhyme about the colours of dress a bride wears :-
Married in white you will always be right.
Married in blue you will always prove true.
Married in yellow ashamed of your fellow.
Married in pink your spirits will sink
Married in black you wish yourself back.
Married in red you wish yourself dead.
Married in green not to be seen.
Married in brown you will live out of town
Married in grey you will live far away.
If is supposed to be very lucky to get a pin that a bride wore on her wedding day.
If you are on your way to church to be married look out for a black cat : It is very luck. If you should hear or see one sneezing you are to have the greatest of good luck. If that person sneezes once it is a wish, twice is a kiss, thrice a disappointment, four times a letter five times it is something better & six times it is a journey to go. If the bride hears a bird singing when she wakes upon her wedding day good luck will come to her.
