- There is supposed to be a treasure hidden in the side of the Cooley Mountains. It was placed there by monks that were living in the castle. There was "trouble" in Ireland at the time. The monks lighted a candle in a window of the castle, and it shone on a peculiar spot on the mountain. In that spot they hid their pot of gold. The monks went through the tunnel that led to the mountain, and in the spot where the light shone they hod their(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
