    Some of the tricks that are played are taking the wheels off peoples carts and leaving them at a cross roads, and taking off gates is an old custom.
    Another old custom is tying peoples doors, and when they try to get out they cannot.
    Some of the tricks that are played inside are, sowing salt from your bed to the fireplace and then you look in the looking glass and you will see who you are going to be married to.
