  1. Christmas Customs
Christmas always falls on the 25th of December,
It is a custom for people to decorate their houses with holly and mistletoe for Christmas and leave them there till after New Years day.
If you leave the decorations up until after the 6th of January it is unlucky.
Everybody has turkey and plum pudding for their Christmas dinner.
It is unlucky for the first person to come into the house on New Years day to be a red haired person and if it is a dark haired person it is lucky.
It is said that if you give out money on New Years day you wil be giving out all the year round and if you get any money in you will be getting it in all year round.
