Porridge was eaten with soundsOne crock of sounds lasted a week.To get a drink out of the crock of sounds some blades of straw were placed across the mouth of the crock. There were pushed down before the vessel being inserted in the crock so as to keep down the seeds and procure a drink from the seeds.- Informant
