    Long ago when the kelp industry was commenced in Ireland, there was a great nook of the shore in Mutton Island where any amount of seaweed used to be during the whole year round.
    Any horse or car could not put up the seaweed. There were steps made along the cliff where all the old women with baskets used to put the seaweed. And ever since it is called Poll na gCailí (gCaileach)
