  1. There is a lake on the south-west side ( the sunny side ) of Sliabh Callán called Loch Buaile na Gréine. The buaile, or grazing lands, where the farmers put their cattle to graze in Summer, runs up to this lake. On account of its sunny aspect it was called "Loch Buaile na Gréine".
