  1. Saint Brigids day people makes crosses put them up on the rofter of there houses. The way people make them is. They get three or four ribs of straw plat it. Another way to make is to get tow sticks make a cross of it put a nail in the middle of it. On Saint John's night peopl believe it is luckey very to make a bone fire. When the bone fire is over the people collect up all the ashes. On a sunday morning the people throw it out in the meadow. In whit sunday water is blessed by the priest. people bring it home in bottles and shake it over all parts of the land
