    The Forster Family, the Local Landlords who were very popular in the locality, were evicted out of their seat. The local poets commemorated the event in song.
    The following was composed by Jas. Tierney Kilfenora.

    My Fathers ancient home.
    A Tyrant soon will call thee his
    Which uses me to roam.

    My Tenants too must leave the lands
    With grief and direful woe.
    For this tyrant has prepared them
    A speedy overthrow.
