- (continued from previous page)The princpal paths are Bocar na Mine leading from the Gort Carron road to the village of Aughrim. This was made in the bad times and then the road to Corofin. It is now used only as a path for horses and cows. Botar na ceapdchaun is an old road running from the village of Aughrim to Kilkeedy village and Kilkeedy graveyard. It is through this old road all the funerals went long ago. It is not in used now only as a path for animals. The old road runing from Kiltackey Mór to the new line is called the Quakerstown road. Cars can travel on it but not much used now except by the few people who live in Quakerstown.
Griffey's boteen is now a boy road and runs from Kiltackey Graveyard to Coolorty. Botar na gCloc is a path or old road running from Kilcoreorna village to Boston Chapel and now used only as a path for walking. Bothar Glas is a footpath running from near Cooley's forge to Ballinlisheen village and from that to Linn Bog. Turf used be brought out here long ago but now used only as a footpath.
