  1. There is a fort situated near Crossford Co. Galway. The name of it Lisín.
The shape of it is round. There is a little hedge of bushes on the right side of it. There is a big hole in the middle of it. No one ever entered it. There is water in it.
One time there was a man ploughing the little field where the fort was and every scribe he ploughed it turned back again and if he stayed ploughing yet in the field he could not plough it. The Danes made some of them as a protection from other people. The people consider them very unlucky. Sometimes there is a black cat minding them and other times there is a dog or a fairy man minding them. There is a white dog minding Lisín.
