  1. Long ago two Saints lived in Clondegad. There names were Sgrabán and Fiadán. It was revealed to them that one of them should leave the place.
    They agreed. They made two gads and they put them into a river close by. Which ever gad went with the water the owner of it should leave the place.
    Fiadan's gad went and Fiadán left. He settled a few miles away and he had a well there. The well cures sore eyes.
