  1. Bog onions were used as a cure for a stiff joint after a hunt. They are found in a bog. The bog onion resembles a fern when it is growing. It is picked and soaked in water for twenty four hours.
It will form into a substance like castor oil. It is rubbed to the stiff joint three times a day for eight days. The joint would loosen and get as active as ever.
