  1. Farm Animals.
    The farm animals are cows, horses asses, pigs and sheep. The cows get names from the farmer such as Polly, Red Cow, Yuan, Kenny and Houseflier. When driving cows in and out to the fields "How How" is said.
    The cowhouse is a large building with a cement floor and white washed walls. In farmer times, thatched cabins with mud floors were used. The cows were tied by their horns but now they are tied by the neck with chains to bales. Some of the bales are made with timber and others with cement. There are old customs connected with the cows. Seven years old Easter water is sprinkled on them when they are let out on the grass. When a cow calves her udder is signed with a blessed candle. Badges and medals are hung in the cowhouse and a piece of palm is hung there after Palm Sunday, to bring,
