    The Friar's Well
There is a holy well in Killengalline near Kilteely called the Friar's well. There was an ancient Abbey there long ago. Little is known of the Friar's well but a legend is told in connection with the Abbey. This legend will be related later. The Abbey was destroyed about the eight century. There is very little of it there now.
