   1. Put hot water into a bottle. Leave it there for a while. Then throw away the water and put the mouth of the bottle down on the boil. If the steam is gone it is no good.

   Bleeding from nose.
   1. This was cured locally by a man named Thomas Dwyer R.I.P who lived where Mr Nash now lives in Hills lot. he said words - a prayer or a charm as the people called it and the bleeding stopped. He could stop a vein bleeding.
   2. Put a spoon of a key down the back of the neck and make the person lie on his back.

   Thrush
   1. A person whose father was dead before he was born should blow into the babys mouth.

   1. The blood of people named Cahill who live near Collmoyne should be rubbed to it. One of the Cahills is married to OGorman and is living near New Inn, She has the cure and cured Pat Hall of the Commons in 1936
