- (continued from previous page)This Nicholas was M.P. J.P. for Tipperary in 1844 - 1852 and as above stated died in 1872. It was the Mahers rebuilt Turtulla House which in its heyday was a magnificent mansion. People remember the later Nicholas receiving rent with pistols beside him on the table.
