    Boils = One quart of stout, 1 oz of cream of tartar, 1 lb of brown sugar, 1 oz of sulphur mixed together and reduced to half with red irons.
    Cough = One raw onion, half a pint of vinegar, one lb of raw sugar mixed together.
    Eczema = Rub effected part to a cut lemon.
    Wart = The cure for a wart is costic also to make the sign of the cross, with the first quarter of the moon over the wart.
    Burn = The cure for a burn is breadsoda, water, and butter milk, mixed together, and roasted to the fire.
    Sore throat -- The local cure for a sore throath is warm water, salt + a lemon.
    Head Ache = The cure for a Head Ache is to drink black tea and to rub parrafin oil on your forehead.
    Tooth ache = The Local cure for a tooth
