An old song which used to be sung by Jim Davis a man who used to work with the farmers of the locality some forty years ago.

    (continued from previous page)
    got my eye,
He an Irish boy from Ireland
To deny that no man can
He's a rarum tarum the devil may care
    He's an Irish gentleman.

    III
I left my home in Ireland not many years ago
I left my home in Sligo wqhere the big potatoes grow.
But since I've been from Ireland it's always been my plan
To let the ladies know that I'm an Irish gentleman.
