- The surest sign of a day coming wet is to see sheep rising early and going off to graze but if they remain lying down tile six or seven in the morning you may be certain that day will be fine.
If there is no dew at night in the Summer (?) the next day will rain.
If the sun and wind meet the day will be wet.
