    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Borrisoleigh :- The town of the territory of Ileigh, built by the Bourkes in 1600.
    Lisnamakeeve :- Mc. Keeve's forts. There are three forts together in the one field.
    Cluaneavin[?] (Glenkeen) :- A beautiful meadow.
    Knockbrack :- The speckled hill.
    Curraghnaboola :- The marshy land of the milking place.
    Curraghgloss :- The green marshy land.
    Kilnalacken :- The Church on the side of the hill.
    Gortinadawn :- The garden of the treasures. Large numbers of old coins have been found in this place dating back to the time of George II.
    Curraghkeel :- The narrow marshy land.
    Glenariesk :- The valley of the soft land.
    Shanballeycleary :- Clery's old village.
    Aughvolyshane :- John's field where he used to milk his cows.
    Cill Cuileanáin (Coolawn) :- St Culán was the patron saint of Borrisoleigh. There was a church and graveyard here long ago.
