  1. All of you that seek pleasure through Ireland,
Don't spend your money too free
In Youghal , Tramore or Dungarvan
    Lisdoonvarna, Lahinch or Kilkee,
And you'll find enjoyment by coming,
And for fear that you might go astray,
When you land in Tipperary, enquire for
The Road between Newport and Rea.
When you'll proceed up the mountain,
You'll land in the old Copper Mine
Ans when you'll go on a bit farther
You'll find yourself in Toureen Brien.
Tis there you'll put up at a tavern
A place you won't meet every day
Tis owned by a man named Mick Murphy
On, the road between Newport and Rea
Miss Annie will bring down the fiddle
And play you a nice lively tune or an air
Miss Nora will wait on the travellers,
She's a lassie with brown curly hair
Old Joseph himself he is civil
Ans the laws he will strictly obey,
He would sell you four pints on a Sunday
