    Kidney Trouble.
    1. A cure for kidney trouble is dandelion boiled in new milk and taken three times daily.
    2. A dwarf fern with a brown mossy back is to be found growing on old wall and ruins. This when boiled in milk is supposed to be another cure for this disease.
    3. Another cure is to take a few drops of spirits of nitre in a glass of spring water.
    4. A drink of water in which elder berries are boiled is another cure.
    A sty in the eye
    1. To cure a sty in your eye is to bathe it in cold tea every day.
    2. Another is to melt unsalted batter in an iron spoon and rub it to sty.
    3. Another cure is to rub a gold wedding ring to it in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
