    exact age of this small monument be what it may, we think that no one will deny that it is at least quaint and instructive, and let no hope that antiquarians in Ireland, or some rich lover of the past, may take care that it is more effectually protected and preserved. This good work, of course, being done with the patriotic assistance of the people of St. Patrick's Well, to whom this early representation of the famous teacher naturally and most justly belongs.
