  1. 5. Pain in the ear. A piece of wadden and castor oil on it will take the pain away.
    6. When you are bleeding from the nose, get a piece of paper, and put it under your upper lip, and your nose will stop bleeding.
    7. Consumption. The seeds of the common stinging nettle boiled into pulp, and then eaten by the person who is sick.
    1. Coughs. The leaves of the marshmallow boiled and then taken is a cure for a cough. Blackcurrant wine is also a cure for a cough.
    2. Chilblains. To put salt in hot water and then to put your feet into it. Forge water is also a cure for chilblains.
    3. Boils. The crushed roots of the marshmallow made into a poultice, and then put on over the boil.
    4. Liver and Kidney complaints. Can be cured by eating the leaves of the dandeline.
    5. Headaches. Can be cured by rubbing box-wood bark to the forehead.
    6. Skin diseases. Can be cured by eating ground ivy leaves.
    7. Warts. Cut a big potatoe in the middle, and make a little hole in it. Put a piece of washing soda in it. Leave the washing
