    "Gort Mór is a great field in the neighbourhood, it is so big that it is called Gort Mór. An adjoining field is named Gort Beag as it is much smaller than "Gort Mór"
    The Market Field" gets its name from the Markets which were held there long ago.
    The Well Field It is so called because of a spring well which is in the centre of the field.
    The Barn Field because of crops of wheat and oats which used be stored in barns there long ago.
    The Kiln Field which had a lime kiln on it.
    The Flax Field in which there used to be a pool for bogging flax.
    The Brick Field It is so called because
