    I live in Gouig in the parish of Castleconnell.

    I live in Gouig in the parish of Castleconnell. There are eighteen different familes and about eighty people. The name most common is Ryan and Tuohy. The houses are nearly all slated. There are only three tatched houses and three zinc houses there.
    There are some old people living in Gouig namely.
    Mr. Mackey. Mrs Mackey. Mr Tuohy. Mr C Tuohy. Mr Bourke. Mr Joyce Mrs O Brien and Mr Ryan.
