    A Cure for a cut, Chew a leaf of "snarless" & put chewed leaf to cut. It will never fester but dry up quickly.
    For sore mouth, (inside) get child, born after death of father, to breathe into mouth & relief is instantly felt. Honey put on teat of bottle also gives immediate relief. Alds a mixture of honey and borax is used to cleanse the mouth.
    For sore nose or catarrah - apply a little vaseline at bed-time to bridge of nose.
    For warts - another cure is to tie a silk string tightly round it.
    For Ringworm, write your name round it with pen and ink.
    For bleeding from the Nose, put a key of a door down the back of the neck of the sufferer & make her keep her head back.
    For toothache, put a frog into your mouth.
    For sciatica, give the injured limb a good burning with nettles.
    For pain in the side, spit on a stone & turn it up side down.
    For bunions, fill a match box or a cigarette box with small stones, some of which have been rubbed to bunion & put on the road. Person who finds them & takes them up gets bunion.
