    he went out to the forge and lit the fire. He then made the horse shoe. He went over to the horse and took up his leg and it was the very same as if he was catching nothing. When he had the shoe on the horse the man gave him a half-crown and rode away. The next night he came again and the blacksmith did not want to get out of bed, so he stayed in it. The knocking became louder and a crowd gathered at the door, so he was forced to get out of bed. When he went to the door there was a large funeral along the road. He shod his horse as before. The man for many nights called for the same reason. The last night the man called he told the blacksmith never again to get out of bed to shoe a horse for anybody.
