  1. James Guiry was inside in the above fort. He wanted a stick to make the handle of a fork. When the stick was cut he was about to leave the fort when a hunt came on, horses, beagles, and men. He moved near them but as he did the hunters disappeared. He left the stick.
    Mr Dan Fitzgerald told this story to Sean Kenny who told it to me.
