  1. Once upon a time a man went digging gold in O Donnells fort of Ballyallinan. When they were about to dig for the gold they noticed a white bull approaching them. They left their implements after them and fled and never went to dig the gold after.
O Donnells fort is opposite our house. It is supposed to be haunted. Music was heard in it, and figures like women were dressed in white were seen moving in it. Michael MacAuliffe who died some years ago, saw the bull.
