  1. About two hundred yds from our school there are the ruins of an old farm house and near it, portion of an old fort stands. It is told of the family who lived in this house that they were one day engaged in levelling the mound which surrounded the fort.
    When dinner time came they had half the fort levelled but they did not go out again as one of the men
