We have a lot of rhymes to begin games with a word of each rhyme is said by one child as she points to each child. When the last word is said the child that it points to is the chosen leader.
    Some of the rhymes are
    "Abbin a babbin a baby's name,
    Haul some Paul some,
    Sacred name,
    Potatoes rose, single toes,
    And out goes she.
    Another is
    "Ickk ackle blue bottle
    Ickle ackle out
    Turn the dish cloth or
    Inside out".
