   making - The vertical movement of the churn staff produced splashing and the butter got into grains.
   treatment - The butter was washed well in clean water. There was salt put in it when it was cleaned.

   cows milker}= When the cows were milked, the milk was put into a big tin-pan which were put up on stands. stands= The stands were in a special room called the dairy. cream= The cream was skimmed from the milk before each milking time morning and evening and the cream was stored in a tub. On certain days of the week the cream was placed into a churn for the churning. kinds - There are several different kinds
