    We have no churn at home.

    making - The vertical movement of the churn staff produced splashing and the butter got into grains.
    treatment - The butter was washed well in clean water. There was salt put in it when it was cleaned.
    buttermilk} - Some people used drink the butter milk while others would give it to the calves.
