    There once lived in Ballinoe a man named Michael Moran nicknamed "White Mike".

    There once lived in Ballinoe a man named Michael Moran nicknamed "White Mike". One night there was a dance held in his house and people from all parts of the parish were gathered there. Out in the night they had a collection to which everyone subscribed and great was their delight when they found that they had the price of a half tierce of porter. Cars were very scarce at the time and they could get no way to get the half tierce. At last "White Mike"
