    It is said there were sixteen old houses from the old mill bridge to Mr. J.J. Woulfe's gate, and they are now demolished. There were two old houses in our land. One in Thomas Ambrose's field and one in John O'Donnell's land.
    The old houses saw many generations of industrious men and women come and go. Leaving behind them the rich warmth of human associations.
