Co. Limerick.Old Crafts.Ardagh was an industrious village in former times. There were three weavers in.
- Our Local Saints.Our local patron Saint is Saint Molua. There was a well dedicated to his honour, and it is said that it was at the top of Ardagh village, and people used to wash clothes in it, and it removed to the back of the village. On the day of his death it chanced that a certain Holy man was walking in the woods, and he saw a bird perched on a bough, and tuning pathetically. Then an Angel appeared to the man and told him that Molua was dead. He also worked many miracles.Told to her by her mother.
