As I roved out one evening to get poor Charlie shod.
My heart it was in motion from gazing at the strand.
I gazed upon a lovely lake most pleasant for to see.
The swans they glide along the tide.

Where all the horses of the place are shod without delays

He sells all sorts of tobacco and the best Blarney tea
Which makes old women jump with glee.
