    Aifrinn. It is in the townland of Ballymakea. It was said that lights were seen around the houses of some people in my townland. One night a man was coming from Killeagh. When he came to a cross named the "Rock" he saw a man with a black dog. He said good night to the man and he received no reply and he got a great fright. Not far from my house there is an old lime kiln. It is in the townland of Ballykilty.

  2. The name of my townland is Clasheel. It is in the barony of Imokilly and it is in the Electoral division of Clonpriest. The name of my townland is derived from the limestone which surrounds the district.
    There are four houses in Clasheel. Two of these houses are thatched and the remaining two are slated. There were seven houses there long ago but now two are old
