    The barometer is not the only way of finding out the weather as there are so many different signs such as:-
    If there is a red sky in the morning it is a sign of rain
    If it is red in the evening it is going to be fine.
    If the swallows fly low it is a sign of rain.
    If the cat licks himself behind his ears it will rain.
    If the hens oil their feathers it will rain.
    If a corn is sore on your toe it is a sign of rain.
    If the soot at the back of the fire is red it is a sign of a frosty night.
    If the salt is wet it is a sign of the wet weather.
    If you hang a piece of seaweed and it gets wet it is the sign of bad weather and if it is
