    Weather lore
    It is a sign of fine weather when:-
    a. The swallows fly high;
    b. The crane flies towards the sea;
    c. The sunset is red;
    d. The wind is north on a summer's night.
    e. The magpies are seen together away from the nest during nesting time;
    f. Distant hills look far away;
    g. The new moon is straight up and down.
    A rainbow in the morning is a shepard's warning
    A rainbow in the night is a shepard's delight.
    When the ash is out before the oak,
    We'll have a soak.
    When the oak is out before the ask,
    We'll have a splash.
    It is a sign of bad weather when:-
    a. The swallow fly low;
    b. The new moon is on it's back;
    c. The crane flies inland;
