    spark from a passing train, set fire to the thatch. Mr Patrick Mahony's house, Bottlehill, Burnfort, Co. Cork was burned accidentally, about ten years ago. The creamery was burned about twenty years ago. The old barrack in Rathduff was burned in the year 1920 by the Irish Republican Army. The cabin was also burned away.
