  1. There is a lake in Blarney which is said to be enchanged because buildings can be seen beneath the water on a calm day. About ninety years ago ten people were drowned in the lake. About thirty years age a man names Willie Buckely ,Gurrane , Donaughmore was riding on a horse one Sunday evening . As he ws crossing a river called "The Fiddler's Brook" he fell in and was drowned. Not long after this a man named James Golden , Guranne , Donaughmore was coming home from a funeral late one Sunday evening. He slipped and fell into "the Fildeers Brook." Next morning his body was found with a
