    Cures.
    Glúineanach (Periscaria). When used as a bedding under goslings prevents swollen joints, and cures affected ones. The disease is known also as Glúineanach
    Primrose Leaves, made into a poultice cures barber's rash (Mrs Flynn Glenville).
    Marsh Mallows, are used for sore limbs or weak limbs.
    Bay Leaves when chewed take away the smell of strong drink.
    Yarrow, when boiled down, the infusion is used for chest troubles, (pains)
    Herb Robert. An infusion about a wine glass at the time cures Kidney disease.
    Wild sage, Herb Robert will cure diabetes in its early stages.
    Cleas na péisre - a twine knotted a few times, in such a way so that the ends when drawn releases the knot again, was made over calves, as a charm.
    The root of Comfrey washed well and scraped into shreds makes an excellent plaster for cleaning and drawing sores. (It must be left on until it fals off when the flesh is whole.
